Meyers ‘fails breath test after minor crash’ in LA

TUDORS star Jonathan Rhys Meyers has reportedly been arrested for drink-driving in Los Angeles.

The Irish actor, 43, is said to have failed a breathalyser test following a minor crash on Sunday. Website TMZ said Meyers (pictured) was ‘well past’ the legal limit when he was picked up in Malibu around 5pm. The dad-ofone, married to actress Mara Lane, has had a 15-year battle with alcoholism, which has seen him in rehab six times. He has said: ‘There’s never an excuse for me to drink.’
