Cummings ‘had no part in £670k vaccine PR hire’
DOMINIC CUMMINGS had ‘no role whatsoever’ in hiring a public relations firm with links to his family to advise vaccines tsar Kate Bingham, a minister said.
Tory frontbencher Lord Callanan issued the denial after Ms Bingham faced criticism for a £670,000 contract for PR consultants Admiral Associates.
Liberal Democrat peer Lord Scriven said: ‘Angus Collingwood-Cameron, the director of Admiral Associates, is also a director of Dominic Cummings’s in-laws’ country estate.’
But Lord Callanan said the hire was made ‘under normal civil service procurement procedures’.
