Five arrested on Greek island over migrant smuggling

A MIGRANT smuggling ring has been broken up on the island of Kos. Four Greeks, aged between 29 and 48, and a 25-year-old foreign national were held after five other foreigners were held in the island’s main town on Friday. The 25-year-old and one of the Greek suspects allegedly arranged for migrants to be transported from Turkey to Kos, while two of the other Greeks provided hotel accommodation for migrants.
