THE LADY IS A CAT

-

‘Some of the most interesting work was with our movement coach, Polly Bennett, who said that people like assigning animals to characters,’ claims Corrin. ‘The first thing that came to mind for Diana was a deer caught in the headlights,’ she adds, ‘but ‘Polly was like, “I don’t know… Go and have a think.”

‘We’d just got a dog and these cats used to sit on our wall and watch the puppy with heads tilted. Cats draw you in, they have this incredible presence but rarely give all of themselves – if they do, they can be very affectionate. I thought, oh my God, it’s Diana – and from that point on I had a gateway to who she was.’
