In which James May (below) cooks. Or not. The least blokey of the Top Gear, sorry, Grand Tour blokes fronts a cookery show for people who can’t cook – and by cookery he means cheesy pasta and peanut butter on toast. Mmm, we’ll have some of that. Available from this Friday.

If you’ve hung in there with the SHIELD gang over six seasons, then your reward is finally here as the seventh and final series lands – for Disney+ subscribers, that is. The channel has all six earlier runs and the seventh, which takes Coulson (Clark Gregg, left) and co back to 1930s New York, starts with a double bill on Friday, followed by episodes streaming weekly. It’s destined to be a cult.

LEFTOVER WOMEN

It sounds rather more exotic in the original Mandarin but if you’re ‘sheng nu’ – a ‘leftover woman’ – in China, then life can be hard. The derogatory term refers to unmarried women in their late twenties, a status seen as a failure however successful you are in career terms. This rather brutal documentary follows three sheng nu. Available tomorrow.
