THERE was no quickstepping it out of there for AJ Pritchard, who squealed hysterically as he tackled an I’m A Celeb Bushtucker Trial.
The ex-Strictly star shrieked his way through cobweb-filled tunnels as the public voted for him and actress Jessica Plummer, 28, to take on The Harm-Oury trial.
Hosts Ant and Dec were left in hysterics by the melodrama as AJ, 26, cried out to the ex-EastEnders star while they scuttled through the bugs looking for stars.
After hearing him scream: ‘Where are you?’, Jessica tried to calm him down, saying: ‘You’ve got this. Don’t freak out.’ But it all proved too much for the pair, who only found six out of 12 meal stars for the camp.
Meanwhile, footage of Vernon Kay taking a shower at Gwrych Castle, in north Wales, has thrilled fans. Contestants can’t shower alone as they need one person to pump water – and ITV bosses have been giving the 46-year-old TV host’s impressive muscles plenty of air time.
One viewer quipped: ‘The I’m A Celeb producers knew exactly what they were doing by adding in another Vernon shower scene.’
