Nurse spared ban after speeding to front line
A NURSE who was caught speeding on a motorway five times in two weeks has been spared a driving ban so she can stay on the Covid front line.
Ventilation specialist Hayley McDonald, 35, was on her way to Manchester Royal Infirmary each time she was clocked breaking a 50mph limit in place due to works on the M62 near Warrington.
She was given 15 points on her licence but Wigan magistrates said they would not disqualify her as she is a ‘key NHS worker’.
