Passengers get chance to end isolation early
TRAVELLERS arriving in England from countries on the quarantine list are to be allowed to cut short their two weeks of self-isolation if they test negative for Covid.
From December 15, passengers willing to pay for a test after the first five days will be free to go out and about as soon as they get the all-clear. Results of private tests, which cost from £65, are typically given in 24 to 48 hours.
Airlines UK said the government announcement provided ‘light at the end of the tunnel’.
