LADY GAGA’S DOGS STOLEN AS WALKER SHOT
LADY GAGA’S dog walker has been shot in the chest by attackers who stole two of the pop star’s three French bulldogs.
Ryan Fischer, 30, was ambushed by two men while walking the pets in West Hollywood. The thieves, who reportedly fired four shots into his chest with a semiautomatic handgun, escaped with two of the dogs, Koji and Gustav.
The third bulldog, Miss Asia, ran away and was later recovered by police.
Gaga, who is said to be ‘extremely upset’, is offering a $500,000 (£350,000) ‘no questions asked’ reward for the return of her beloved dogs.
Officers were called to the scene just outside Mr Fischer’s home at about 10pm on Wednesday, where they found him conscious, but barely breathing.
Reports last night suggested he was ‘recovering well’ in hospital.
Miss Asia, who was unharmed, was later picked up from the police department by one of Gaga’s bodyguards. The three dogs were being looked after by Mr Fischer, a friend, while she is away in Italy, filming.
Police said the thieves escaped in a white vehicle, possibly a BMW or a Nissan.
LAPD information officer Jeff Lee added: ‘We had a shooting at 9.40pm (5.40am yes
terday in UK). Male unknown suspect fired a gunshot. Victim was male, white, 30 years of age. Victim was transported to local hospital in unknown condition. No arrest made yet.’
Gaga has often taken her French bulldogs to premieres and award shows, as well as regularly sharing photographs of her pets on Instagram.
The 34-year-old singer has been in Rome, working on Sir Ridley Scott’s film Gucci, about the 1995 murder of fashion house heir Maurizio Gucci. She plays his ex-wife Patrizia Reggiani.
