NEW Meet The Richardsons

Dave, 10pm

This could have been irksomely selfregarding: a pair of comics mocking their home life, mockumentarystyle, while finding room for cameos from celebrity mates. But there’s something so agreeably sweet-andsour about Jon Richardson and Lucy Beaumont’s marital back and forth that overcomes all reservations. If bickering was an the Olympic sport, these two would be Team GB.

The Queen Unseen

ITV, 9pm

ITV continues to try and favour back some of the curry it flushed down the loo by screening that interview with this slice of oddly respectful voyeurism. The Queen is a jolly good egg is pretty much the flavour as talking heads and video clips push the point home. Highlight: Prince Philip modelling 1950s swimwear.

Intruder

Channel 5, 9pm

The pot comes to the boil as we reach the climax of this overheated but enjoyable thriller built around the shock killing of a burglar. Don’t expect anything too deep on the subject of natural justice but there are some inventively bonkers twists in store as the net closes in on homeowners Sam and Rebecca.

A League Of Their Own Road Trip

Sky One, 9pm

From the popular school of Banter TV that celebrates grown men in their forties acting half their age, you know just what you’re getting here: Freddie Flintoff, Jamie Redknapp and Romesh Ranganathan doing daft stuff involving paintballs, water sports and the Highland Games. We’ll make allowances for Jack Whitehall – at 32, he’s the mere baby of the bunch.
