Job adverts hit 1.5m as businesses gain confidence
MORE than 180,000 jobs were advertised in the first week of May as the lockdown eases, a report finds. There are now 1.5million vacancies, including a record during the pandemic of 211,000 in the first week of April, finds the Recruitment and Employment Confederation. Chief executive Neil Carberry said: ‘The jobs data continues to give us good news for the recovery.’
