Twin ocean life forms are like a living fossil

ANCIENT life forms living in perfect harmony off Japan’s coast are like a ‘living fossil’, experts say. Creatures known as crinoids have been found with coral growing from them like veins. Until now this symbiotic link between the species was thought to have ended 270million years ago, as there were no fossilised examples of it later than that.
