Scott hints he’ll stay at the Cottage
SCOTT PARKER believes mistakes in the transfer market contributed to Fulham’s relegation from the Premier League and hinted he wants to stay and lead them back up.
The Cottagers completed the trio of teams relegated in midweek and play the first of three dead rubbers at Southampton tomorrow.
‘I want to develop a culture at the club and to do that there needs to be consistency and loans don’t give you that,’ said Parker.
‘We need to sit down, work out where we’re going longer-term, how we want to see it and that’s a conversation we have at the end of the season.’
Parker said he had not yet spoken to vice-chairman Tony Khan about next term and shrugged off talk about his future.
‘Speculation is something in this game we can never hide from and is constantly there and that changes like the wind,’ he added.
