Dani splits with boyfriend who lied about £34k fraud

- By ANDREI HARMSWORTH

DANI DYER has broken up with her partner Sammy Kimmence after he lied to her about the crimes that saw him put away for three years.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, a source revealed the heartbroken exLove Island star, 24, is working on life as a single parent with their sevenmonth-old son Santiago after her boyfriend was jailed for scamming £34,000 from two vulnerable pensioners.

‘She is absolutely floored by what’s happened with Sammy,’ the insider said.

‘She knows she has to make massive changes in her life and is so distraught.

‘Her baby boy is the only thing that matters now. She is trying to work out how best to look after him.’

Kimmence, of Rayleigh, Essex, duped Peter Martin, 91, and Peter Haynes, 81, into letting him invest money for them.

He then splurged it in restaurants, hotels and on clothes and a private registration plate for his Mercedes.

The 25-year-old was jailed for five counts of fraud at Portsmouth crown court this week after changing his plea to guilty at the last minute.

The insider added: ‘Sammy completely downplayed the court case every step of the way. He led Dani to believe he hadn’t done anything serious and that he would get a suspended sentence. Now she knows the full horror of the crime she is broken. She feels desperately sorry for the men he scammed.

‘She feels utterly stupid for ever believing him and is totally overwhelmed. The dream family she thought she had has been smashed apart. She is now trying to work out how best to pick up the pieces.’

Dani, daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, dated Kimmence before winning Love Island with Jack Fincham in 2018. When the TV couple split she got back together with Kimmence.
