JLS: EVERYBODY IN LOVE WITH NOSTALGIC REUNIONS AFTER OURS

- By DANNI SCOTT

JLS have called for the return of the boy band – as they labelled themselves the ‘blueprint’ for ‘nostalgic’ acts reuniting. The Everybody In Love singers – Marvin Humes, Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams and JB Gill – first found fame on The X Factor in 2008 but split in 2013 before reuniting in 2020.

Now Oritsé, 37, says ‘everyone seems to have followed’ – pointing to a slew of acts from the 70s, 80s, 90s and noughties including Girls Aloud and NSYNC.

Asked why there are no boy bands left, Marvin, 39, shared: ‘All of the boy bands, man bands, whatever you want to call us now, are all the ones that are reformed. It’s a good question that. It’s a very good question.’ Talking excitedly of NSYNC’s surprise appearance alongside Justin Timberlake last year – their first since 2013 – Marvin said he hoped to see a full reunion tour. ‘Big N SYNC fan. No doubt. Oritsé is as well,’ he laughed before teasing that JLS may also be adding to their line-up – by recruiting I’m A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson.

Made In Chelsea star Sam gushed about JLS while in the jungle with Marvin, begging for a chance to come on stage with the group. And his grinning pal teased: ‘We’ve formed a great bond and we may have something special coming up. Keep your eyes peeled. His voice is actually OK...’

JLS will perform at Kew The Music, Shrewsbury and Edinburgh Castle this year.

SINGER Olly Murs and his pregnant wife have shared a sweet snap showing off her swelling tummy – and his toned abs.

Marrying bodybuilder Amelia looks to have had a positive impact on Olly, 39, who was a touch tubbier in a throwback snap that the couple shared alongside the new pic.

‘A lot has changed since 2019,’ wrote Amelia, 30, who looked blooming in a pink bikini.

The pair wed last year and revealed in December they are expecting.
