The three day event commences in East Grinstead on Saturday 30th April, covers Haywards Heath on Sunday 1st May and finishes in Burgess Hill on Monday 2nd May. Participants can once again challenge themselves to complete an individual town race or complete the full marathon distance over three days.

For younger participants and new runners, there will be a fun run and Mid Sussex Mile race planned, plus you can also take part in our virtual race if you are unable to attend the live event. The virtual event will take place between Saturday 16th April and Monday 2nd May. The Burgess Hill leg takes the form of a 10K run and starts at Burgess Hill Academy from 10.30am. This will include activities for all ages, joining with the national celebrations for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. A full programme of events will be announced closer to the time, with information on Burgess Hill Town Council’s social media, website, and in About Town magazine. Jubilee Fest replaces the Summer Festival for 2022. In October 2021 the Town Council consulted residents on future Town Events. From the feedback received, the preference was for events to be spread throughout the year, rather than concentrated in a specific time period. Following this feedback, the Council has planned events for each month of 2022.

Jump in January successfully kicked off the year, next up will be Fun in February, and Make in March. To keep up to date with events, you can sign up to an Events Mailing List through the Town Council website at www.burgesshill. gov.uk.
