Gregory wins day as golf society get 2022 started

Cuckfield Golf Society’s first Golf day of this year was held at Hollingbury Golf Club.

The day was being sponsored by Goldsmith Roofing Ltd, who members thanked for their support.

Fourteen members enjoyed a full English breakfast before tackling the course in what can only be described as very difficult in very strong winds.

But at least it stayed dry until they were finished.

Ken Gregory (right) had a good round considering the conditions, winning with 35 points from Adam Sandieson on 32 points.

The longest drive was won by Simon Higgins and nearest the pin in three by Simon Buckman.

The society’s fixtures are finalised for this year and will be posted on their Facebook page.
