Covid stops 20 flights

Leading Gatwick budget airline easyJet cancelled 20 flights from the airport on Monday, April 4, because of high levels of Covid among staff. This followed cancellations on Saturday of flights to Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza. An easyJet spokesperson said: “We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause to customers on affected flights.” They said customers had been contacted and given options for rebooking, receiving a voucher or getting a full refund.
