A long awaited clean sheet for the Brighton goalkeeper which he didn’t have to work hard for at all. Norwich failed to test him all game, with the keeper commanding his box well.

Tariq Lamptey- 5

A mixed game from the young full back, caught out of position on a couple of occasions, but looked a threat down the right. Saw a lot of the ball but showed a lack of quality end product.

Marc Cucurella- 7

A good performance keeping a clean sheet and showing attacking threat. Bombed down the left and fizzed in a few dangerous looking crosses, but like Lamptey didn’t show dangerous enough end product.

Lewis Dunk- 8

Didn’t put a foot wrong defensively in steering Brighton to a clean sheet, although the Seagulls’ captain had little to do. Showed good composure and played out from the back well.

Alexis Mac Allister- 7

Played positively throughout and narrowly missed a couple of long range efforts. A testing strike almost won it at the end, but Tim Krul parried away.

Leandro Trossard- 7

His best moment, a slick turn, followed by quick feet, created a chance inside the area which was blocked and followed by three Brighton corners from

Enock Mwepu- 6

Came on late in the game, and had little effect in trying to push Brighton to a winner.

Pascal Gross- 6

A decent game saw some nice switches of play, and a couple of chances created, but the necessary precision to create a goal was lacking.

Jakub Moder- N/A

Went off injured having only come on as a substitute with 10 minutes to play.

Danny Welbeck- 7

Looked a threat throughout the game, and worked very hard for the team, missed a big chance at the end, however, not managing to make contact with the ball at the back post.

Solly March- 8

Was Brighton’s main attacking threat, driving at the Norwich defence from the left and created chances from which Brighton should have scored.

Joel Veltman- 8

A good block inside the area to stop a goalbound Milot Rashica effort was his best defensive contribution, in a game in which he was defensively sound, winning the fan’s man of the match.

Jeremy SarmientoN/A

Came on with just minutes to play and was unable to impose himself on the game.
