Festival fun and annual town meeting

Haywards Heath Town Council’s Spring Festival returns to Muster Green on Sunday, April 24.

Buddy Blue the bunny will pose for photos and run some fun competitions at the event, which starts at 1.30pm.

Haywards Heath town mayor Howard Mundin is set to open the festival, which features a spring lamb for children to meet and a tractor.

A council spokesperson said: “The Air cadets are bringing their Bulldog plane and we will also be welcoming two donkeys on the day, who will be eagerly waiting to meet the children and give them a free ride.”

There will also be funfair rides, a circus skills area, charity stalls, face painting, live performances and sport activities.

• Haywards Heath’s Annual Town Meeting is on Monday, April 25 (7.30pm) at the Town Hall on Boltro Road. All residents are welcome to hear about the activities of the Town Council and take part in a ‘question time’ event.
