-

Back to back away victories at Arsenal and Tottenham has Brighton on track to break their record Premier League points tally.

Albion are currently on 40 points and have six matches remaining to surpass last season total of 41 points. Head coach Graham Potter said: “We haven’t got there. So the focus for me is on trying to get the points.

“We’ve got six games to go and we face an unbelievable challenge in the nextmatchandwesaw with the apocalyptic times things can happen pretty quickly and the narrativecanchangeandallofa sudden you can find yourself in problems.

“Attheendofthat season, I’d be happy to discuss it (record points) and give a proper answer but at the moment, I’m just focusing on the next game and trying to get the points in every single game.

“Hopefully we can be competitive and then see what we end up with.”

Brighton were at title chasing Manchester City on Wednesday night and then face mid-table Southampton on Monday. Wolves, Manchester United and Leeds follow before Albion conclude their campaign against West Ham.
