A23 closed southbound after lorry overturned
The A23 was shut southbound near Bolney for more than two hours on Thursday, April 28, after a sewage lorry overturned.
Sussex Police said at 11.39am that the road needed to be closed while emergency services attend the scene.
Diversions were put in place and National Highways
South East said the A23 closure was between the A272 and the A2300 near Bolney.
At 4.15pm a Sussex Police spokesperson on Twitter said: “The A23 southbound near Bolney has now reopened following the overturned sewage lorry this morning.”
