Robert Sanchez Absolute run of the mill afternoon for the Spaniard. Had nothing of note to do all game except a last minute scare from Boly. Dealt with the odd cross that came his way with ease. A couple of dodgy clearances, though. 6/10

Joel Veltman - Steady performance. Not troubled too much by Wolves’ frontline. Was targeted with long balls in behind him and beaten a few times. Solid overall. 6/10

Lewis Dunk - Stroll in the park for the captain. Read the game well to make some important interceptions. Headed and cleared everything Wolves threw at him. Quick thinking to play a ball over the top for Welbeck who went on to win a penalty. A captain’s performance. 9/10

Marc Cucurella - Energetic, positive and quality on the ball in attack and defence. Superb last ditch tracking back to deny Fabio Silva a clear goal-scoring opportunity. Came out with the ball in every tackle. Still making threatening overlapping runs in the final minutes. Quality and confident performance. 9/10

Solly March - Won the first penalty after a positive run saw his cross from the byline handled by Roman Saiss. Always a willing runner down that channel whether it be attacking or defending. Subbed off for Lamptey in the 86’. 7/10

Yves Bissouma Played that anchor role alongside Caicedo in what was a congested midfield. Put in a solid performance, doing the dirty work including intercepting, tackling and linking up play. Topped it off with a goal from the edge of the box. Everything you want and expect from the Malian. 8/10

Moisés Caicedo - Not offered a lot of space in the middle of the park but did well when on the ball. Set Welbeck up for a good opportunity after some tenacious high pressing. Played well in that anchor role alongside Bissouma. 7/10

Leandro Trossard - Argued the toss with Mac Allister over the second penalty and lost. Got on the scoresheet nonetheless after being swapped into Mwepu’s position in behind the striker (70’). Took his goal well after a good run in behind and some clever footwork saw him find space in the box. 7/10

Enock Mwepu - Unable to stamp his mark on the game playing just behind the striker. Found in tough to find pockets of space in that role. Subbed off for Webster (60’). 6/10

Alexis Mac Allister - The tale of two penalties for the Argentinian. Missed his first with a poor effort which clipped the outside of the post. However, had the bottle to step up and convert the second spot kick 10 minutes later. A threat in between the lines. 8/10

Danny Welbeck -Wasa problem for Wolves all game. Whether he was dropping deep to hold the ball up or running into the channels, he was a handful. Won the second penalty after a positive run saw him brought down by Willy Boly. Set Trossard up after more selfless forward play. 8/10

Tariq Lamptey Subbed on for March in the last few minutes. Not enough time to impact the game but good to see him get a cameo appearance. N/A

Pacal Gross - Subbed on for Trossard in the final few minutes. Not enough time to make an impact. N/A

Adam Webster Subbed on for Mwepu (60’). Had the tough task of marking Raul Jimenez but passed with flying colours. Nearly gave Hwang a golden opportunity but got back well to make amends. Flew through two hard tackles in quick succession and came out with the ball. 6/10
