A Haywards Heath woman is publishing her second book in collaboration with psychologists and volunteers at Samaritans, to provide a positive self help book.

Katie Colombus, assistant director of communications at Samaritans, has written ‘Pathways: Your journey to emotional wellbeing’ to provide practical ways to promote positivity and help people find their own route through their problems.

Kyle Books will be publishing the book with the paperback being released on December 30 at £12.99.

With pages for selfreflection as well as goal and routine setting, it offers ways to achieve a sense of calm from anxiety, relief from low mood and decompress from stress.

Katie said: “Everyone has mental health, the same way they have physical health, and proactively taking steps to manage your wellbeing can help you cope with life’s challenges. I really hope Pathways helps readers to think about their emotional wellbeing and consider what works best for them, so they feel better equipped to face any ups and downs that come their way.”

As the UK’s leading suicide prevention charity, Samaritans encourages everyone to seek support, so they do not end up reaching crisis point.
