On the lookout for talented players

GRANGETOWN netball club is on the lookout for exceptionally talented players in the area to take part in their new and ongoing project, Talent On Tees.

Talent on Tees is a talent identification campaign led by Grangetown Netball with support from Olympic Athletes and Fitness experts, such as Olympian long jumper Chris Tomlinson, The UniT’s Jemma Wesson and Jump Fitness instructor Jarv Paisley.

Project leader Faye Summerhill said “We are pro-actively looking to unearth and develop exceptional sporting talent in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland. No previous experience is necessary. Athletes just need the raw talent, determination and capacity to develop under the guidance of elite coaches in a safe environment.”

The sessions are aimed at girls aged 11-13. Anyone interested in joining can email faye_summerhill@hotmail.com for an application form.
