They call it puppy love

PUPS that need dogsitting while their owners are away could soon have the chance to play with friends and be pampered at a new doggy daycare centre.

Yappy Days Daycare Centre, in Stockton, is set to be bursting with dogfriendly toys and play areas including tunnels and ball pits that your beloved pet can enjoy .

The centre, on Bowesfield Crescent, can cater for up to 30 dogs at a time and is manned by experienced staff. Set up by Jess and Ray Spashett, the centre will provide a safe environment for your four-legged friend to play and relax.

Ray said: “We are hoping to be open very soon, just waiting for all of the planning to go through hopefully.

“This has been a dream of ours for a few years now.

“It started off as Yarm Dog Walkers, a little business ran by my wife, and so this was just a natural progression.”

Dog owners who need to use the services of the centre will be able to drop off their pets for a half or full day.

Staff can also pick up dogs from their own homes if needs be with a drop-off and collection service.

If all goes to plan, the centre will be open Monday to Saturday.
