Chance for your lit­tle mon­ster to be Ghost­buster

YOUNG­STERS will get the chance to be­come real life Ghost­busters in their own mini films this half term.

On Fri­day (Oc­to­ber 26), dur­ing the Oc­to­ber half term hol­i­day, chil­dren vis­it­ing Mid­dle­ton Shop­ping Cen­tre will be able to take on the role of Ghost­busters in Movie Mak­ing work­shops.

They will have the chance to dress up in cos­tumes, use pro­vided props and dis­cover the tricks of movie mak­ing, per­form­ing to cam­era us­ing a spe­cial script.

Ses­sions will be held at 11am, 1pm and 3pm in the shop­ping cen­tre and the fi­nal mini movies will be pre­miered on the cen­tre’s Face­book page, with pho­tographs of the cast posted so that vis­i­tors can ‘like’ their favourite Venkman, Stantz, Spen­gler and Ja­nine.

Lynette How­gate, man­ager of the Mid­dle­ton Shop­ping Cen­tre, said: “Chil­dren love Hal­loween and we are con­fi­dent they will en­joy dress­ing up and role play­ing a scene from the Ghost­busters movie.”

The Movie Mak­ing ses­sions are suit­able for chil­dren aged over five years. Places are lim­ited and chil­dren need to visit the Mid­dle­ton Shop­ping Cen­tre’s Face­book page to re­serve a place us­ing the link to the www. eventbrite.com book­ing site.
