Chance for your little monster to be Ghostbuster
YOUNGSTERS will get the chance to become real life Ghostbusters in their own mini films this half term.
On Friday (October 26), during the October half term holiday, children visiting Middleton Shopping Centre will be able to take on the role of Ghostbusters in Movie Making workshops.
They will have the chance to dress up in costumes, use provided props and discover the tricks of movie making, performing to camera using a special script.
Sessions will be held at 11am, 1pm and 3pm in the shopping centre and the final mini movies will be premiered on the centre’s Facebook page, with photographs of the cast posted so that visitors can ‘like’ their favourite Venkman, Stantz, Spengler and Janine.
Lynette Howgate, manager of the Middleton Shopping Centre, said: “Children love Halloween and we are confident they will enjoy dressing up and role playing a scene from the Ghostbusters movie.”
The Movie Making sessions are suitable for children aged over five years. Places are limited and children need to visit the Middleton Shopping Centre’s Facebook page to reserve a place using the link to the www. eventbrite.com booking site.
