Best of the bunch

Middleton Guardian - - THE LAUGHING BADGER -

THIS is an easy-togrow perennial that brings lots of sunshine to your garden with tonnes of vivid black-eyed yellow daisies.

The coneflower, also sometimes known as black-eyed Susan, likes to grow in sunshine or partial shade and prefers well-drained, moist, quite fertile soil but really it’s not fussy and very low maintenance.

It will provide pollen for butterflies too. Propagation is easy – you can either divide it in spring or grow it from seed.
