Project worker’s cocaine shame
A MAN who ran a project devoted to helping criminals go straight has admitted plotting to supply cocaine.
Simon Yates, 46, was manager of County Community Projects in Gloucestershire and also assisted the Gloucester prison chaplaincy.
But now he has appeared before Gloucester crown court and admitted conspiring to supply the illegal Class A drug.
He and Craig King, 36, of Tuffley, Gloucester, were arrested by police during the high-profile police Operation Wildfire last month.

Brunette Paige, a 34B hottie from South Africa who lives in Chelmsford, Essex, says she and Jodie, from Brighton, were “spotted” while queuing to audition for the X Factor in Liverpool last week.
Paige said: “W e were just waiting in line at the Echo Arena when a woman in a suit approached us.

“She overheard us rehearsing our song and said, ‘Don’ t waste your time with this, come and see me and we’ll get you straight in the studio’.
“It’s all so exciting! W e haven’t signed on the dotted line yet but we’re very close.”

She added: “Paige and I have been singing together for ages now and we think there’s a huge gap in the market for two girls who are outrageous, but who can sing as well.
