National Trust raver is rapped

-

A MAN who organised an illegal rave at a National Trust beauty spot has been handed an ASBO.

Robbie Brophy invited 130 of his friends to the party, and forced open gates to a field letting livestock escape and cause chaos on nearby roads.

Horrified visitors and neighbours to the Gallows Hill site in Ivinghoe, Bucks, watched helplessly as the unruly ravers wreaked havoc.

The 20-year-old had travelled hundreds of miles from his home in Haverhill, Suffolk, to host the rave.

Brophy admitted organising the event when he appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court, where he was given the three-year ASBO.

He was also ordered to pay £3,000 compo to the National Trust, a £1,500 fine, £15 surcharge and £80 court costs, and banned from attending or organising raves.
