Crack thief ‘executed by drugs gang’ claim

-

FOUR members of a drugs gang executed a thieving addict with a submachine gun after he robbed one of them, a court heard.

The quartet lured crack cocaine user Anthony Dickson to a secluded field before blasting him in the chest, it was alleged.

The father-of-three, from West Drayton, Middsx, is said to have become a target after he robbed drug runner Satwant Virdee of £50worth of crack.

Virdee, 40, is alleged to have ambushed him along with gang leader Max Feliciano, 27, and Clifford Stevenson, 48, said to have been the getaway driver.

Anthony Small, 32, who fired the fatal shots, was found guilty of murder after a trial last year – a charge the other three deny.

Prosecutor Simon Denison QC said: “No dealer can afford for it to be known that he can be robbed and he will do nothing.”

On December 23, 2010, unemployed and penniless Dickson is said to have phoned Small and asked to meet him to buy crack.

Driven by his girlfriend, Dickson headed to the meeting point while Small and the others arrived separately.

“Small immediately shot him twice in the chest from close range with a submachine gun.”said Mr Denison.

“In the days that followed, Feliciano was boasting about what he and Small had done.”

Feliciano, Virdee and Stevenson, all of Hayes, west London, deny murder at the Old Bailey.

The trial continues.
