MARIA HNATIAK

-

SICK Maria Hnatiuk was a real-life “Fatal Attraction” psycho who murdered a young girl to “prove her love” for her boyfriend.

The bisexual killer lured the teen to a remote Norfolk wood and stabbed her to death , slashing and cutting her 50 times.

She was jailed for life at Norwich Crown Court in December, 1996, after a jury found her guilty of the murder of 18-year-old student Rachael Lean near RAF Coltishall, in what remains one of Norfolk’s most notorious criminal cases.

A suicidal love letter sent to Hnatiuk’s fella Ian Wells read: “I have never loved anyone as I love you, yet all I’ve brought you is pain.

“You won’t grieve for me for long, you have a whole crowd of females clamouring to take my place.

“All I want to do is end my life. I’m sorry I wasn’t a brunette or bigger busted, I might have had a chance with you then.”

Wells revealed how they plumbed debauched depths, trawling contact ads for gay girls to join their perverted orgies.

He said: “On Christmas night Maria undressed me, tied my wrists and ankles and blindfolded me. When she took it off I was speechless. She’d changed into a nun’s black habit.

“Underneath was a black thong and tight bodice with cut outs around the breasts, and everything was rubber.”

In jail she befriended Soham accomplice Maxine Carr. The pair were snapped sunbathing at cushy Foxton Hall jail, Derbys, where Hnatiuk still awaits parole.
