Depp’s Lone to lose £100m
HOLLYWOOD superstar Johnny Depp’s latest movie The Lone Ranger is set to lose a staggering £100 million.
The western – with a rumoured £200 million budget – has been a critical and box-office disaster in the US.
Wall Street financial experts believe the flick – where Depp, 50, ( above) plays Native American hero Tonto – will now lose an absolute fortune for Walt Disney Pictures.
The adventure – which also stars Armie Hammer and Helena Bonham Carter – took just £30m at the Yank box-office last weekend.
Financial analyst David Miller insisted the film’s earnings were a “massive disappointment.”
