I GET THE SAME… AND IT’S ONLY FAIR MY SON HAS HELP

star Katie Price has got loads of abuse this week over her disabled son Harvey.

The ex-glamour model told housemate Katie Hopkins that she claims money from the state for Harvey’s transport to a special needs school.

Of course, that horrible rent-a-gob Katie Hopkins said she shouldn’t get any money because she could afford to pay for it herself.

And the worst part actually agree with her!

The whole thing has made me really angry. Katie Price pays tax the same as anybody else, so why shouldn’t she claim what she is entitled to?

It’s a disgrace for anyone to say that she should pay for it herself. That money is not for her, it’s for her son.

I have an autistic son and he gets transportation to school paid for by the government, and they pay his school fees as well.

I am totally honest about that and I don’t care who knows. It costs £50,000-a-year for my son’s fees and £30,000 for his transport costs – and I claim for the lot.

But I had to fight to get that paid for. And yes, I could pay that myself. I did pay for it for the first three years

is, people of his life and it nearly killed me. What people don’t realise is the money I have saved is for his future.

Most kids will grow up, get a job and earn their own money. My son will never do that. He can’t speak. He will always be dependent on me.

So my money goes towards his life later on. When he leaves school, I will need that money to support him.

My biggest worry is what will happen to him when I die.

Every child in this country is entitled to a free education. Disabled children shouldn’t be any different.

Harvey – like my son – can’t go to a normal school. They need special care.

If the state school system was better equipped, then there wouldn’t be any need for all this money.

But the government are too tightfisted to pay for anything like that, so this is the situation we’re in.

I bet most of the people moaning about Katie Price don’t have disabled kids. They don’t have any idea what it’s really like.

I am so angry about it. How on earth can they moan about an innocent child?

Anyone who has slagged off Katie Price should be hanging their heads in shame.
