experience from that point of view. For us, he’s someone who can play on both wings with a lot of power, pace and incredible ball control.

“He can take people on, he’s really exciting and he is one of those players who gives you the impression that something’s going to happen.

“We’re thrilled to welcome him to Everton and see how much he can enjoy his football here.

“This sort of player, at Goodison, brings a real sense of excitement once they get on the ball. It’s quite unique, so I know the fans will be keen to see how quickly he fits into our team and our way of playing.

“Every Evertonian will agree that he’s a player with incredible pedigree and he has the experience to settle in quickly. He’s ready to create big afternoons for us.”

Everton have been below par this season. After finishing fifth last time out, they are currently 12th.

Lennon will be charged with the task of lifting spirits at Goodison and could make his move permanent in the summer if all goes well.

He insisted he is relishing the chance to strut his stuff.

“I’m really looking forward to seizing this opportunity at a club with such a history and with such great potential too,” he said. “The manager wants to play exciting, attacking football and I’m determined to make a big contribution.”

GOAL THREAT: N’Doye STEVE BRUCE has backed new signing Dame N’Doye to hit the ground running and fire Hull to safety.

The striker completed a £3million deadline-day switch to the KC Stadium from Lokomotiv Moscow.

The Senegal international, 29, signed a two-and-a-half year contract after scoring 27 goals in 66 games for the Russian club.

Hull are 18th in the Premier League and have failed to score in 12 of their last 16 matches.

But Bruce hopes N’Doye can get the goals the Tigers desperately need.

He said: “Dame will undoubtedly strengthen our squad and add a significant goal threat.

“You don’t see much of the Russian league, but I’ve seen Senegal play a few times.

“He’s been a member of their team for the last couple of years and for years I’ve taken notice of that Senegal team. I think a lot of managers have taken notice of the African teams.

“Out of all the players who’ve been imported, the African players have made a success of it.

“Physically, they have all the attributes to play in the Premier League.

“I’m delighted to have completed the signing of Dame and I’m looking forward to seeing him in action for us.”

Andy Robertson says Hull must make the most of their home matches to have any chance of beating the drop.

The Scotland full-back said: “It’s our home form that has not been good enough and we have to pick that up if we want to stay in this league.”
