PARTYGOERS were surprised to discover NHS-branded condoms being advertised at a fetish party.

The advert and free condoms were distributed at a metalworks in London hosting an alternativefetish crossover event called ‘Antichrist’.

Hundreds of NHS flyers showed a latex-clad woman next to the slogan “Into rubber? We’ve got loads.”

One attendee said: “The advert made me laugh when I first saw it – then I laughed even harder when I saw it was from the NHS. It’s nice that they have a sense of humour.”

The condoms were from the nearby NHS Freedoms shop, which promotes safe sex among the gay and fetish communities.

An NHS spokesperson said: “The Freedoms Shop is a health promotion initiative that highlights the importance of safer sex by using condoms.

“An increasing number of people are visiting London club fetish nights and we provide an opportunity for people to look after their sexual health with online access to affordable protection.”
