Diame needs a bit Mo time
STEVE BRUCE says Hull will use the international break to help Mo Diame end his injury nightmare.
The midfielder hasn’t featured since December 3 because of an ongoing knee problem.
But the 27-year-old is edging closer to full fitness and is back in training.
Bruce is hopeful Diame
will be in the reckoning for the Tigers’ survival push – starting with the trip to Swansea on April 4.
He said: “It’s a big two weeks for Mo. He’s been out for fo ur-and-ahalf months.
“When he’s right, he’ll be a big addition for us. He’s been out for a long
time so we’ll have to see how he trains.
“He’s got to train for the next eight days, then we’ll look at putting him into some sort of game.” Diame moved to Hull from West Ham for £3.5million in the summer and he made a flying start to his career at the KC Stadium.
The Senegal star scored four goals in 14 games before injury struck. Bruce added: “We missed him just like we missed Nikica Jelavic and Michael Dawson.
“When you’re without your big guns, it’s always a struggle.”
