DRINK DRIVER AGED12

A BOY of 12 is suspected of drink driving after he careered through traffic, ran into a truck and crashed into a telegraph pole.

Police saw the lad weaving through rush hour traffic, when he narrowly missed a cyclist.

The schoolboy, who was alone in the vehicle, is being investigated for driving while intoxicated, failing to stop and render aid, and evading the police in Austin, Texas.

Officers tried to stop the car when reports of a reckless driver came in, but the boy sped off, leading them on a chase.
