Gun nut uses girl as shield

A COWARDLY criminal used his four-year-old daughter as a shield to avoid a shootout with police.

Kyle Kruppenbacher, 29, got into an argument with his brother Kody that turned into an armed stand-off.

When cops arrived at the house they demanded that he come out with his arms up.

But officers said that Kruppenbacher finally emerged “holding his daughter as a shield” and “refused to put her down.”

Later the terrified girl was freed by deputies without suffering any injuries.

Kruppenbacher was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and felony battery at his home in Leesburg, Florida.
