IF you’ve shagged more than three people, you’re instantly LESS ATTRACTIVE, apparently.

According to a new study, the optimal number of sexual partners to make you the best is between one and three.

So if you’ve bonked more than three partners, that makes you less appealing as a potential long-term mate.

The poll was carried out online and quizzed 200 people on their willingness to hop into bed with a hypothetical person, depending on the number of notches on their bed post (between 0-60).

A spokesman said: “The aim of this study was to explore how people’s sexual history affects their attractiveness.

“The effect of past partner number was very large. Average willingness ratings initially rose as past partner number rose, but then fell dramatically.

“Surprisingly the two sexes agreed on the ‘ optimal’ number for long-term relationships– about 1-3 makes you the most attractive.”

It also discovered that men looking for a quickie wanted a more experienced partner to take to bed and said the ideal number of past partners would be 10.

Whereas women after a short-term fling looked for men who had bonked around seven women before them.

It added: “Both sexes expressed equal reluctance to get involved with someone with an overly extensive sexual history.”

We asked Sport stunna Emily Addison whether she would be more or less likely to get between the sheets with a fella, depending on how many women he’d had his end away with.

The 29-year-old model, from York, said: “Personally, I don’t judge. As far as I am concerned the past is in the past, and as long as a guy I’m seeing isn’t shagging someone else behind my back I don’t care how many women he’s been with.”
