56 lose heads in prison riot
A GRISLY prison riot has left at least 56 people dead with most DECAPITATED.
The riot erupted on Sunday afternoon and lasted for 17 hours, ending horrifically for more many lags.
Inmates also held 12 guards hostage at the Anisio Jobim nick in the Brazilian Amazonas capital of Manaus.
Sergio Fontes, state public security secretary, suggested the riots were an organised killing spree by a local gang against members of a rival gang.
He said: “We think they had already done what they wanted: kill members of the rival organisation.
“Many victims were decapitated, and they all suffered a lot of violence. This is the biggest prison massacre in our state’s history.”
