Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

MOVIE bosses behind the likes of Harry Potter are hoping to follow up on the bespectacled wizard’s success with a new film all about Nigel Farage.

Warner Bros, the studio behind the likes of Ghostbusters and Man of Steel, are rumoured to be in talks about making a film centred on the former UKIP leader.

According to insiders the movie would follow Farage’s campaign to get Britain to leave the European Union on 23 June last year.

Movie bigwigs are working with millionaire Arron Banks, who funded Leave.EU, to base the blockbuster on his diaries of the successful campaign titled The Bad Boys of Brexit.

A spokesman for Mr Banks confirmed the rumours: “We have had some very serious Hollywood people in touch with us who are going to buy the rights to the book. They want to buy the option on it. The Bad Boys of Brexit. It’s a comedy.”

Producers are apparently hoping to sit down with Brexiteer Farage when he visits the United States for Donald Trump’s inauguration as President later this month.
