Teen: Rolf groped me on taxi ride

Midweek Sport - - NEWS -

A TEENAGER who claims she was groped by Rolf Harris in the back of a taxi fought back tears as she told a court of her “humiliation”.

The alleged victim told Southwark Crown Court the entertainer had touched her breast twice and later forced his hand in between her closed legs leaving her feeling “very sick”.

Asked why she had included details in court that had not been in her police statement she said: “It’s not the sort of detail you tell to men you have never met before.

“I am trying to tell the truth now.

“It was humiliating and it is humiliating to tell it in public.”

When asked if she had exaggerated in her mind the story she told the jury, the alleged victim replied: “No I haven’t, I remember it very well.

“He’s not the only man ever to have had a go, but it was the worst because of his celebrity status.”

Harris has pleaded not guilty to seven fresh counts of indecent assault and one alternative charge of sexual assault.

The trial continues. THE University of Glasgow offers a Homer Simpson philosophy course.
