FAMOUS LAST WORDS

-

WITH Arizona planning to bump off eight Death Row inmates in 11 days to use up their lethal injection juice before it reaches its best-before date, we look back at some famous last words uttered by some truly evil monsters before they were sent to meet their Maker… THOMAS Grasso was executed in Oklahoma on March 20, 1995, for a double murder. His final words were him complaining he didn’t get the last meal he asked for: “I did not get my Spaghetti-Os, I got spaghetti. I want the Press to know this.” ALREADY in prison in Oklahoma for life for killing a man while hitchhiking in 1958, James French was afraid to commit suicide.

So he murdered his cellmate in order to get the state to do it for him – which they did on August 10, 1966. His last words were: “How’s this for a headline? French Fries.” JAMES Jackson was executed in Texas on February 7, 2007, for the 1997 murders of his wife and two stepdaughters at their Houston home.

His upbeat final words were: “I’m ready to roll. Time to get this party started!” GEORGE Appel’s final words before being executed in the electric chair in New York in 1928 for murdering a police officer were: “Well, gentlemen, you are about to see a baked Appel.” JIMMY L. Glass was executed on June 12, 1987, for his involvement in the 1982 shooting of Newton and Erline Brown during a burglary. His last words were: “I’d rather be fishing.”
