POP star Niall Horan claims that older women just don’t do it for him.

Unlike his former One Direction bandmate Harry Styles, Niall says he isn’t interested in mature women because he’s only a young pup himself.

Niall, who struck up a very flirty friendship with Lorraine Kelly, 56, says that women closer to his age are a better match.

Lorraine and Niall sent social media into a frenzy when they spoke about sex on the telly host’s morning show last week – and their flirty exchange even led to Niall asking her for her phone number.

However, Niall ruled out a romance and said: “Not for me. Too old, I’m 23. I’ve been so busy I haven’t noticed if there has been any more attention from the ladies. I’ve been really boring.”

Niall has previously dated actress and singer Selena Gomez, 24, and 23-year-old Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin.

However, heart-throb Harry has a penchant for the older lady having history with a whole host of stars older than his own 23 years.

His past romances include Caroline Flack, 37, and Taylor Swift, 27, and his current squeeze, Tess Ward, is five years older than him.

Harry’s famous cougar exes reportedly include 38-year-old Nicole Scherzinger and Rod Stewart’s Kimberley, 37.

He also found himself at the centre of an affair after 37-year-old DJ Lucy Horobin’s husband claimed Harry romped with her behind his back.

Comedy actress Erin Foster, 34, reportedly spent time with the singer, as did Made In Chelsea star Caggie Dunlop, 28.
