DEPRESSED MAN THREW HIMSELF INTO CRATER

NOTE LEFT: Tragic Adonis A DEPRESSED man committed suicide – by throwing himself into an erupting volcano.

Leo Adonis was found in a crater on the volcano, about 250 feet below a walking trail used by the public.

His father said Leo, 38, had left a suicide note in his backpack.

The backpack was discovered at around 7pm by two hikers who were on the walking trail in the Hawaii National Park on Saturday.

The pair immediately alerted officials who started a search for the bag’s owner. from a fall, but an investigation is ongoing.

The area is open to visitors, but officials encourage hikers to stay on marked trails.

The site does not have an active lava flow. But Kilauea, the volcano he was on, is erupting.

Since 1990, four people have died from falls around the crater rim.
