BRIT COPS PROBE 7 WEINSTEIN SEX CLAIMS
UK cops investigating Harvey Weinstein are now looking at sexual assault allegations from SEVEN women.
Officers are probing separate incidents alleged to have taken place between the 1980s and 2015 in London and outside of the UK.
The Hollywood producer has “unequivocally denied” any allegations of non-consensual sex.
No arrests have been made over any of the allegations at this stage, the Metropolitan Police said.
New York police are also investigating claims against Weinstein, 65, including rape and sexual assault.
Numerous allegations have been made against the movie mogul from women, including actresses Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Earlier this month, UK cops confirmed they were probing claims from three women that they were attacked in Westminster, Camden and west London.
The Producers Guild of America has said Mr Weinstein had been banned for life over reports of his “decades of reprehensible conduct”.
One woman alleges that she was sexually assaulted outside of the UK in 2012 and again in Westminster in 2013 and 2014, the police DENIAL: Movie mogul statement said. Another woman has claimed that the same man sexually assaulted her in London in 2010, 2011 and again in 2015.
Police have not given any more details about the alleged victims or offences.
