TOP TRUMP: Dwayne could bid to be U.S president ACTOR Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson wants to run for President and is determined to DUMP Trump out of the White House.

The former wrestling star is billing himself as ‘The People’s President’ and is allegedly preparing to run for office in 2020.

Current leader Donald Trump has divided the nation with his policies and speeches but Johnson wants to unite America once again and is ready to take on The Donald.

Fast and Furious star The Rock, 45, was at Sta Lee’s Los Angeles Comic Con at the weekend when he took part in a Q&A session.

One brave fan asked the muscleman outright if he was going to run for the White House and he replied: “I think ‘ The People’s President’ has a really nice ring to that, I’ll just say that.”

It’s not the first time Johnson has spoken about nabbing the top job, he said in May that running for president was ‘a real possibility’.

In July, paperwork to form an official campaign committee called ‘Run the Rock 2020’ was filed with the Federal Election Commission, sparking even more rumours.

The Rock isn’t the only celebrity to make a supposed bid for the presidency, Kanye West famously said he was going to run in 2020.

However the rapper later changed it to 2024 after meeting with Donald Trump last year.

Kanye previously said: “I’m not saying I have any political views. I just have a view on humanity, on people, on the truth.”
