Boyzone star Shane: I hated our music!

BOYZONE star Shane Lynch has confessed he used to HATE the chart-topping hits the band performed.

Shane, 41, is back in the studio with the 90s boy band but revealed there was a time he used to despise their popular songs.

He said: “I don’t think back then I really ever admitted that I didn’t like the music we were creating, I just got on with my job.

“The people close to me knew – they knew I hated all the records.

“I really did hate them at the time because it wasn’t me as a character.”

Earlier this year Shane and his former bandmates Ronan Keating, 40, Mikey Graham, 45, and Keith Duffy, 43, agreed to a comeback tour and new album.

Shane added: “Now as an adult I love Boyzone records as it’s more about the memories and the emotions than it is about the music.
