Two charged with nightclub murder
TWO men have been charged with the murder of a man who was attacked in a nightclub.
Ian Power, 39, and Errol Anderson, 55, are accused of killing Jamel Powell, 37, who died following a disturbance at the Blue Mountain Club in Bristol on December 30.
Power, of Gloucester, and Anderson, of Bristol, are due to appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court over Mr Powell’s death, Avon and Somerset Police said.
Two other men have been charged over the 3am incident at the club in the Stokes Croft area of Bristol.
Rafiki Powell, 30, and Meikel Powell, 29, have both been charged with grievous bodily harm after a 55-year-old man was assaulted outside the club a short time after Mr Powell was attacked.
They are due to appear at the same court.
