Two charged with night­club mur­der

TWO men have been charged with the mur­der of a man who was at­tacked in a night­club.

Ian Power, 39, and Er­rol An­der­son, 55, are ac­cused of killing Jamel Pow­ell, 37, who died fol­low­ing a dis­tur­bance at the Blue Moun­tain Club in Bris­tol on De­cem­ber 30.

Power, of Glouces­ter, and An­der­son, of Bris­tol, are due to ap­pear at Bris­tol Mag­is­trates’ Court over Mr Pow­ell’s death, Avon and Som­er­set Po­lice said.

Two other men have been charged over the 3am in­ci­dent at the club in the Stokes Croft area of Bris­tol.

Rafiki Pow­ell, 30, and Meikel Pow­ell, 29, have both been charged with griev­ous bod­ily harm af­ter a 55-year-old man was as­saulted out­side the club a short time af­ter Mr Pow­ell was at­tacked.

They are due to ap­pear at the same court.
